Hello everyone!

In this post I’m here to tell you about what I’ve been doing these days. On the programming side, I’ve already finished the first activity of day 3 of the week-long trip that takes place in chapter 5. What’s left is a special event, activity 2, and the nighttime gameplay.

The problem is that right now I can’t work on the special event because I have to prepare a video and I can’t do it since I need 3D models of the characters, I’ll tell you more about that later.

On the art side, just like I commissioned an amazing artist, Fatur Art, to redesign Kokoro, Katsune, Fuyu, Yuri, and Nana, now I’ve asked her to redesign the other 5 main girls: Madoka, Koko, Hanako, Saori, and Kaede. Here you have a sketch of each one.

Do you like them? Personally, I love Madoka, Hanako, and Kaede. I think Madoka is the cutest design and I totally didn’t expect it to turn out like that, it really surprised me. And Kaede too, I find her incredibly cool.

Besides this, I wanted to tell you that I’ve also hired another artist to design Koikatsu models of the characters so that, little by little, we can replace all the illustrations in the game. This is because working with these models in Koikatsu will not only improve the visual quality of the game, but also make my work easier and allow me to finish game updates sooner. Regarding the quality of the models, don’t worry—the artist is designing them to be as close as possible to the illustrated versions, and I trust she’ll do a great job. I’ll show them to you when they’re finished.

Additionally, I’m also working on the West Forest, a map you can access starting from chapter 4. It’s a dangerous place with monsters, but with hidden secrets. Until now, it hasn’t been possible to access it because the area was still in development. Starting with the next update, it will be accessible.
